LOA Tip of the Week #7

What's your story?

Have you ever met someone for the first time, and it seems all they have to talk about is a woe is me story? I have met several of those individuals lately. Perhaps I need to be more specific when telling the universe what kind of people I want to meet, and maybe they are exactly the type of people I need to meet!

Being a LOA lifestyle coach brings those exact people into my bubble, because those are the people who need my help most. The problem arises when they don't want to let go of that story. They somehow have lost sight of a brighter today and tomorrow. They have convinced themselves that there is no better moment coming around the corner, regardless of what they think, say, or do. They are wrapped up in their story so tightly, that they don't realize they are receiving exactly what they are putting out.

Do you remember the basic rule of the Law of Attraction? What you put your time, energy, and focus on, is what you will receive! Hello, is anyone listening?

Let me remind you of a simple but important fact. Your life won't change if your story doesn't change. If you wake up every morning reciting your negative, woe is me, feel sorry for me, why me, how come this happened to me, I'm so good but now look where I'm at, I don't know why all these bad things keep happening, is this normal please tell me this isn't normal, my room is so dark I can't find the light switch, I must be a bad person because bad things keep happening, and on, and on, and on, then that's exactly what you will experience!

To change your story is to change your life! Wake up and first thing think of 3 to 10 things you are grateful for. It really isn't that hard, and make sure you think of different things don't keep repeating the same thing. I do this every day, and in all honesty I have an occasional day where I can't think of a single good thing to be grateful for. That's when I remind myself that I have the gift of vision, speech, hearing, touch, taste, smell, and all my extremities. I get to sleep in a bed, not on the street or in a car, and I have slept in my car! Yes, I have been homeless, so I can relate to that situation but I never lost hope, and I never thought it would be like that forever.

Be grateful for all the little things, because there is always a worse situation and since you are in control start doing some positive talk about your life and life situation. There is nothing we can't overcome. It's all in our hands and the power of our belief. You're not the overworked server you are abundant because you are receiving more tips so there is financial abundance. You're not the suffering person living in someone else's home, you are the blessed person with a bed to sleep in and should show gratitude to those who are helping you and for sure not be complaining about anything! You're not the failing business owner you are a successful business owner who is filling the needs and desires of others. You are not a loser, regardless of your past..past.. as in gone, unchangeable, let it go! You are the beautiful person everyone loves to be around. You are kind, and more than giving. You are always looking for ways to help others.

Change your story, and it will change your life!

LOA Tip of the Week #6

Allowing

Allowing. Are you allowing the Universe to bring you those things which you are asking for? Stop right here and take a moment to really think about it!

If you're not sure whether you are allowing or not, think about this. How many times have you turned something away because it wasn't exactly the way you want it to be? How many times have you decided in the last minute that you didn't want something you actually asked for and was given, because even though it was a close match to your request, you've decided you could do it better on your own or without it?

Sound confusing? It sure is, especially to the universe. When we desire something, and the universe gives it to us, but then we push it away because it isn't perfect, we confuse the universe. When we confuse the universe, we end up receiving nothing. Let me give you a couple of examples.

Chester earns a moderate income, he is single, and has a pretty good job. It pays the bills, allows him to occasionally buy a new pair of work pants or dress shirt, and even pays for a movie once a month. However, Chester has to take public transportation to work because he hasn't been able to save enough money to purchase the car of his dreams, and making a car payment isn't something he can afford to do. Chester loves his job, and is very happy with the company, so changing jobs isn't on his "to do" list. He decides to use the Law of Attraction to get himself into a car.

I want a car, I want a car, if only I had a car, he says to himself. He sees himself driving to work and no longer waiting at the bus stop. He can feel himself in a car, playing his radio, hands on the steering wheel, and looking out the windshield. I love my new car, he says, over and over again. One day, while sitting at his desk, his work partner says, "Hey Chester, I know you have been talking about getting a car. My grandmother isn't able to drive anymore, and would like to sell her car." Chester becomes excited at the thought, and says, "Yes, I would love to have a car, what kind of car is it?" "It's a 1984 Buick Century, and it's in great condition on the inside. The upholstery is really nice, the radio, heater and air conditioner work. However, the outside of the car does have a little rust here and there above the tires and such. It runs great!" his coworker says, "In fact, I have it here in the parking lot if you want to take a look, and she is only asking  $800."

Chester has just a little more than that amount in his savings so he decides to go take a look. The car is in very good condition on the inside, and the outside does have a little rust, but the body is in great shape without a dent of any kind. Now, Chester could have a car, but his ego steps in and says, "Yikes! that is an old car, and do you really want to be seen in an old car? You want that fancy new car, don't you? What if you meet a girl, would you really want to drive her around in that car? That's the kind of car your grandma would be driving, not you!" and so Chester thanks his coworker for thinking of him, but declines the offer. Chester has just confused the universe.

Bernadette loves her husband so much, but she doesn't love the fact that he doesn't help out around the house. "It doesn't matter how many times I ask him to do something," she says to her friend, he just says "okay," and things don't get done for days. "Have you tried talking to him, and explaining that he has to pitch in and help? You know, you can use the Law of Attraction, and say positive things like I really appreciate my husband and he is so helpful," her friend says. "Oh, well I guess he does help but he doesn't do a good enough job so I just tell him to leave it for me," Bernadette replies. "What? Let me see if I have this right. Your husband does help but you tell him not to because you think the job he does isn't good enough, but then you expect him to help you?" Bernadette has just confused the universe and her friend.

In both of these examples the universe delivered what was requested, but the recipients refused to accept what was given. Instead of being grateful that he would no longer have to take the bus, Chester let his ego make the decision to refuse the car that would have freed him from public transportation, and instead of being grateful that her husband pitches in on all the household duties, Bernadette decided to be overly critical of his work, and therefore ended up without any help.

When you are given what you ask for, be grateful. Celebrate those aspects that match your request, and the universe will keep working on giving you all that you desire.

LOA Tip Of The Week #5

Does the Law of Attraction Work?

You bet it does!

I recently spoke with someone who said they quit using the LOA because it wasn't working for them. They said instead of things getting better, they got worse. Here are a few tips to help you along when using the LOA in your life.

1.) Watch your words! Eliminate don't, not, and no from your desire statements.

2.) When you know what you don't want, you'll know what you Do want so stay focused on that!

3.) See opportunities in everything that happens. Plant positive seeds!

4.) The LOA matches your Vibration, or Feelings, NOT your words so start feeling good about your desires and dream BIG!

5.) Sometimes our desires manifest a little differently than we want them to. Celebrate the parts that match your desires instead of focusing on the parts that aren't a perfect match.

6.) See your desire as happening now. Using dream or vision boards, cutting out pictures from magazines, or even just pretending will place your desire inside your personal vibrational bubble. When you include the Feeling of having what you want, your vibration will be up and the Universe will match it!

7.) Remember, the LOA is always matching Your Vibration whether Positive or Negative, so if you think it isn't working for you because you are only receiving negative things, then change what you are focusing on from negative to positive, and your results will change too!
